AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM02 pays tribute to the appearance of early game consoles. It uses AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, four heat pipe radiator, DDR5 5600MHz memory, M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and full-featured USB4 Type C, 2.5 It has complete I/O such as GbE LAN, and comes with a package including Windows 11 64-bit Home operating system and AYASpace 2.0 management software. Inspired by the 1985 game console, AM02 seamlessly combines retro design elements with high performance. The I/O on the front of the console is hidden in the red “OPEN” button, which can be easily opened by pressing it. The front I/O cover includes USB4 Type -C port, 2 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports and 3.5mm headset microphone, and the size of AM02 is only 0.9L.
What’s interesting is that AM02 has a 4-inch touch screen on the body, which can provide FPS, hardware information monitoring, or display practical information such as clock, weather, etc., as well as personalize adjustment and control of system volume, disable the screen and other functions. It can be configured in the AYASpace software on Windows systems.
The hardware uses AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor and Radeon 780M internal graphics, paired with dual SO-DIMMs supporting up to DDR5 64GB memory, and an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD.
In terms of connectivity, up to three screens can output USB4, DP 1.4 and HDMI outputs, and have a 2.5GbE + 1GbE wired network.
The Retro Mini PC AM02 is expected to be launched at the end of February, and will be available in barebone and memory + SSD package combinations. Interested players can refer to Indiegogo for pre-order information.
