Changes to Yahoo! JAPAN Service Availability in Europe

As of April 6, 2022, Yahoo! JAPAN discontinued full service access for users located within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. This decision stemmed from challenges in maintaining a consistent and compliant service surroundings across these regions. Though, select services remained operational, as detailed below.

Users accessing Yahoo! JAPAN services from within Japan were unaffected by this change and continued to enjoy full functionality. This geographically-limited access allows Yahoo! JAPAN to focus its resources on serving its primary user base.
