GEORGE TOWN, August 7, 2024 – Malaysia’s Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir, has firmly refuted allegations that an increase in international students, particularly from China, is limiting access to public universities for Malaysian students. he stated that the goverment has not compromised on existing admission policies and that Malaysian students remain the priority for public institutions of higher learning (IPTA).
