Ex-PDIP Legislators Join PSI, Strengthening party in Solo

Three former PDIP (Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle) cadres – Ginda Frachriawan, Dyah Retno Pratiwi, and Wawanto – have officially joined the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

Thes three former members of the solo City Regional PeopleS Representative Council (DPRD) are well-known figures with extensive legislative experience.

Two of them were even candidates in the open selection process for the prospective deputy mayor of Solo from PDIP for the 2024 regional election.

The confirmation of their move was announced by antonius Yoga Prabowo, chairman of the Central Java PSI Regional Leadership Council (DPW).

“Yes, that’s right. We’ve added three new members who are prominent figures in Solo. Ginda, Wawanto, and Dyah – all former Solo DPRD members who have a long track record of contributing to this city through their roles as people’s representatives,” Yoga stated, as reported by Tribun solo on August 10, 2025.

Strengthening PSI in Solo

According to Antonius Yoga, the addition of these three figures will significantly strengthen PSI’s position in Bengawan City, particularly as the political landscape heats up for upcoming elections. They are considered to have a strong influence and established network within the community.
