‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Episode 5: How to Watch “In the Name of the Mother”
The action is escalating on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and last week’s episode has left fans eager to see what happens next. Fortunately, the penultimate episode of season 1 premieres tonight, and it’s going to be a major one. The new episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will premiere tonight, Sunday, February 15, at 10:00 p.m. ET. For those streaming on HBO Max, the episode will be available at any time after its release. An encore showing will air directly after at 10:42 p.m., followed by another showing at 1:05 a.m. Early Monday morning, according to HBO’s schedule.

Episode 4 Ending Explained
Tension has been building throughout A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms as Dunk learns about the injustices of the world. In Episode 4, he awaits his punishment for harming a prince and receives an unexpected proposal: a trial of seven. This means Dunk and Aerion Targaryen will each have six knights fight on their behalf to determine Dunk’s fate. The episode concludes with Dunk choosing his final knight, in a surprising turn, Baelor volunteers to fight for him, despite the restrictions placed on the Kingsguard.

Episode 5 Synopsis
HBO’s synopsis for Episode 5, “In the Name of the Mother,” states: “Dunk’s mettle is put to the test in the brutal trial of seven. Years earlier, Dunk finds himself drawn to the promise of a new future.”
The episode will feature flashback sequences of Dunk as a young orphan in Flea Bottom, spending time with his friend Rafe, a character not mentioned until later in the book series. Rafe is portrayed by Dune: Prophecy star Chloe Lea.
Viewers can also expect to see the trial of seven unfold, which is expected to include surprises for those familiar with the source material, The Hedge Knight.
