Against the backdrop of accelerated adoption of enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) and strong product cycles, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, and Nintendo were selected as the most promising technology stocks in 2026. Barron’s, on December 10th (local time), predicted through technical columns “these 3 companies in the future will exceed market expectations in 2026 with surprising performance.”

Microsoft: OpenAI and $250 Billion Dollar Exclusive Contract

Microsoft is expected to benefit the most from the cloud service contract signed with Open AI.Open AI has secured over $250 billion (approximately 368 trillion won) with Microsoft over the past 10 years.

Dell Forecasts $200 Billion in AI Server Revenue

Dell Technologies is poised for significant growth in the enterprise AI sector, driven by increased hardware purchases. The company has emerged as a leading supplier of servers to businesses leveraging AI, thanks to its vast global distribution network and established service base. This has allowed Dell to secure major AI infrastructure customers, including Coreweave and Elon Musk’s xAI.

Recent financial reports indicate strong performance, with sales for the July-September 2025 period reaching $777 billion (approximately 114.47 trillion won), an 18% increase year-over-year.Azure growth contributed considerably, increasing by 40%.

During its August 2nd quarterly earnings announcement, Dell projected $200 billion in AI server sales for its 2026 fiscal year (February 2025 – January 2026).

Nintendo’s Rising Influence: Beyond Gaming

The Nintendo Switch experienced a remarkably prosperous launch, selling over 10,000 units and achieving the fastest sales pace of any Nintendo console. Specifically, the console sold 1.505 million units during its first fiscal year (April 2017 – March 2018).

Barron’s predicts stronger Switch sales in its second year, driven by the release of more core franchise games. They state, “For the younger generation, Nintendo has become the next Walt Disney,” highlighting the company’s growing cultural impact. Nintendo’s success extends beyond gaming consoles; the company also achieved significant revenue in the movie box office and operates successful theme parks.

The upcoming Super Mario Galaxy movie,scheduled for release in April,anticipates further boosting Nintendo’s profile. Barron’s also notes that Nintendo maintains a competitive advantage through its relatively affordable pricing, stating, “Microsoft and Nintendo both have the advantage of not being particularly expensive.”
