Art Bivant Painting Exhibition and Sale (February 20-23)
The Akrie Himeji Exhibition Hall will showcase the Art Bivant Painting Exhibition and Sale, featuring works by Christian Ries Lassen, alongside special exhibitions from artists like Masei, Tony, necömi, Kuruto Fukasaki, and Momoko. The Tale of Genji Reading (February 21)
On February 21st, 2026, Akrie Himeji’s Main Studio will host a reading session focusing on Chapter 7, “Momijiga no Maki,” of Murasaki Shikibu’s classic novel, The Tale of Genji. The event begins at 1:30 PM, with the reading starting at 2:00 PM. Tickets cost 2,500 yen in advance and 2,800 yen on the day. The Tale of Genji is considered the world’s first novel, written in the early 11th century.
Concerts on February 22 & 23
4The 4 Pianos +1 Special Edition (February 22)
Akrie Himeji Large Hall will present “4The 4 Pianos +1 Special Edition – New piano unveiling performance –” on February 22nd, 2026. Doors open at 3:00 PM, with the show starting at 4:00 PM and scheduled to finish around 6:00 PM. All seats are free, with a 1,000 yen donation requested on the day (1,500 yen on the day). “Future Audience” members receive free admission (unreserved seating, ticket required; high school students and younger, age 5 and up, can enter). Tickets are also available through Ticket Pia (P code: 315-886). The program includes works by Schubert, Brahms, Johann Strauss, Elgar, Mozart, Debussy, Ravel, Rachmaninoff, and Chopin, as well as Smetana’s “Moldau.” The setlist is subject to change. Rokin Concert (February 23)
The Rokin Concert, featuring the Kobe City Mixed Chorus and Kobe City Chamber Orchestra, will take place on February 23rd, 2026, at Akrie Himeji Middle Hall. The event opens at 2:15 PM and starts at 3:00 PM. Conductor and speaker Shunsuke Hori will lead the performance of famous songs from around the world. Meichan Live Tour 2026 (February 23)
Meichan’s Live Tour 2026, “Number 0,” will be held on February 23rd, 2026, at Akrie Himeji Large Hall. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the show starts at 6:00 PM.
