French parents and legal guardians now have a centralized digital platform, Scolarité Services, to manage all school-related administrative tasks. Launched by the Ministry of National Education, the platform aims to simplify enrollment procedures, provide access to student records, and improve communication between schools and families.

What is Scolarité Services?

Scolarité Services is a comprehensive online portal designed to streamline administrative processes for students in public schools under the jurisdiction of the French Ministry of National Education. The platform is accessible 24/7, offering convenience for busy parents and guardians.

Key Features and Services

• Enrollment: The platform simplifies the school enrollment process for children.
• Access to Records: Parents can access their child’s academic records, including report cards and the livret scolaire unique (LSU), formerly known as the livret personnel de compétence (LPC).
• LSU Access: The livret scolaire unique (LSU) or LSUN (livret scolaire unique numérisé) is available through the platform. It serves as a communication tool between parents and teachers, tracking a student’s progress from primary school through the third year of collège.
• Digitalization of Records: The LSU stores data related to a student’s learning cycles, and is used for the national diploma of the brevet (DNB) and for orientation choices after the third year of collège.

Accessing Scolarité Services

Parents and legal guardians can access Scolarité Services through two primary methods:

• Éduconnect: Parents can connect using their Éduconnect credentials. Assistance is available for first-time users.
• FranceConnect: Users can likewise log in via FranceConnect, a secure digital identity service.

Consulting the Student Record Book (Livret Scolaire)

To view a child’s livret scolaire, parents must:

1. Select the “Responsible for Student” profile on the ÉduConnect portal.
2. Log in to their ÉduConnect account using their credentials or FranceConnect.
3. Navigate to the “Student Record Book” section.

This service is available for students in collège and lycée, as well as for students in primary and elementary school.
