According to the broadcast, Terry Crews was so impressed by the routine that he left the stage to press the Golden Buzzer. This move exhausted the remaining Golden Buzzers for the host, as judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Mel B. had already used their allotments heading into the episode.

The July 7 episode featured a diverse range of performers, with several acts receiving unanimous “yes” votes from judges Howie Mandel, Mel B., Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell.

• Vahtang: The performer from Georgia earned four “yes” votes after a surprise performance involving singing and beat-boxing to “Black Betty.”

Mixed Reviews and Eliminations

Not every act found consensus among the panel. Darrell Moten, a magician, moved forward despite a “no” from Mel B., after a trick involving a video screen impressed Mandel and Vergara. Similarly, singer Travis Garland—a former NLT member and current Dancing With the Stars contestant—advanced with a “yes” from Cowell and Vergara, though Howie Mandel voted “no,” citing the performance as too theatrical.

Several acts failed to advance. Godfrey Daniels was eliminated after Mel B. and Sofia Vergara pushed their red buzzers during his stilt and juggling act. Singer Israel Isaac did not receive enough votes to move forward, as Cowell noted the performance did not hold up for a live setting. The final act of the night, duo Neil & Bryan, were rejected after Mel B. buzzed their original song and Sofia Vergara stated they would not win the competition.
