Antigravity A1: The 8K 360 Drone Redefining Aerial Filmmaking
The Antigravity A1 is a new entrant in the drone market, distinguished by its ability to capture fully immersive 8K 360-degree video. Developed by Antigravity, incubated by Insta360, the A1 aims to simplify aerial content creation and offer a unique flying experience. The drone is now available for purchase through Drone Nerds, a subsidiary of XTI Aerospace.
Immersive 8K 360 Capture
The A1’s core innovation lies in its all-in-one 360-degree capture capability. Unlike traditional drones requiring external cameras, the A1 integrates a 360 camera directly into its design. This allows creators to capture every angle in a single flight, streamlining the filmmaking process and potentially reducing the need for multiple takes. The drone supports video capture up to 8K (7680×3840) at 30/25/24fps, with 5.2K and 4K options also available. It can also capture high-resolution 55MP still images (10496×5248).
