# Longtime Antioquia Sports Nutritionist Olga Lucía Quiroz Bastidas to Retire

In issue 697 of the radio programme, Quiroz Bastidas, a graduate of the University of Antioquia with a specialization from other university institutions, shared insights into her extensive career with Indeportes Antioquia.
Quiroz Bastidas will be retiring in 2026, marking the end of a career that began in 1987 at Coldeportes Antioquia, now known as Indeportes Antioquia. she joined the association under the leadership of Hernán Gómez agudelo, then executive director of the Sectional Sports Board of antioquia, and Dr. Álvaro Ortiz Uribe, head of Sports Medicine and Applied Sciences.
A native of Medellín, Quiroz Bastidas attended school in both Medellín and San Jerónimo. She initially pursued food technology before focusing her higher education on nutrition and dietetics.
The daughter of Luis Enrique Quiroz and Blanca Oliva Bastidas, she has three siblings: Luis Javier, Claudia, and Diana Marcela. She is married to Carlos Arturo Suescún, and together they have three children: María Alejandra, Nicolás, and Ana Milena.
