ASUS Launches New Laptop Lineup and AI Ecosystem in Makassar

ASUS introduced its newest technology innovations, artificial intelligence ecosystems, and warranty upgrades in Makassar on November 5, 2026, makassar.terkini.id reported. The event, titled “ASUS No.1 Quality & Service Media Gathering Makassar 2026,” took place at the Ballroom Lotus A of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel.

Country Manager ASUS Indonesia Lenny Lin stated that user trust built over more than ten years drives the company to continuously raise its service standards. The event showcased physical durability tests, including the MIL-STD 810H military-grade standard, which subjects laptops to extreme temperatures, humidity, low air pressure, and physical shock.

Warranty Upgrades and Durability Testing Standards

To match the physical testing demonstrated at the event’s durability booth, ASUS announced significant enhancements to its after-sales service and warranty coverage across multiple product lines.

ASUS ProArt, Zenbook, Vivobook S Series, and Vivobook Flip models now include three years of international warranty and three years of ASUS VIP Perfect Warranty, replacing the previous one-year Accidental Damage Protection. Vivobook Classic laptops receive two years of international warranty alongside two years of the VIP Perfect Warranty. ASUS accessories outside the backpack lineup receive a one-year 100-percent functional replacement guarantee.

Service infrastructure in Indonesia currently spans 141 official service points, with international support reaching over 90 countries. Premium service tiers for Zenbook, ProArt, and ROG owners provide fast-lane access, free round-trip shipping for repairs, and regular maintenance through Laptop Spa.

Zenbook and Vivobook S Boost AI Performance Offline

The Zenbook and Vivobook S series now integrate Neural Processing Units delivering upwards of 50 to 80 TOPS of performance. This hardware exceeds Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC requirements to execute AI workloads locally without draining battery life. ASUS introduced the Zenni Claw AI Agent, a platform designed to handle multi-step tasks such as draft presentations, travel planning, and news summaries. For privacy-focused workflows, the ASUS Virtual Assistant Omni chatbot operates entirely offline.

ProArt Laptops Showcase Ultra-Lightweight Creator Tools

Highlighting the hardware showcase were the ASUS ProArt P14 at 1.4 kilograms and the ASUS ProArt P16 at 1.7 kilograms. Launched globally in late October 2026, both creator laptops feature ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touchscreens and run on the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip. This hardware combines a 6,144-core GPU and a 20-core CPU within a unified memory architecture containing 64GB for the P14 and 128GB for the P16. Demonstrations featured the Hermes Agent reading local project files and drafting scripts offline, alongside DaVinci Resolve Studio acceleration for 8K video editing.

For general consumers seeking personalized aesthetics, the Vivobook 14 and Vivobook Go 14 arrive in three color options. These match new pastel peripherals, including the silent ASUS Marshmallow Keyboard and Mouse in Lilac Mist Purple, Quiet Blue, and Sage Green, alongside the ergonomic ASUS SmartO Mouse.
