Audemars Piguet Expands Prestige Lineup With Five Winter Watches
Audemars Piguet released five high-end timepieces split between Supersonnerie and stone dial thematic lines. The releases feature a mixture of Royal Oak and Code 11.59 references designed to highlight the manufacturer’s prestige positioning alongside Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe.
The collection introduces two 42mm Royal Oak Minute Repeater Supersonnerie editions under reference numbers 26591TI.OO.1252TI.08 and 26591OR.OO.1252OR.01. Measuring 42mm in diameter by 14mm thick, both models feature the Royal Oak octagonal bezel, integrated metal bracelets, and a minute repeater slider at the 9 o’clock position. The titanium model pairs its case with a green sunray-brushed dial featuring a fumé gradient, while the pink gold variant uses a brown Grande Tapisserie dial with pink gold accents. Both executions house the manual-winding calibre 2953, operating at 21,600 vph with a 72-hour power reserve and a 20-meter water resistance rating.
The Supersonnerie construction utilizes specialized perforations in the caseback, paired with patented gongs and soundboards developed with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne and musicians. The sculpted manual minute repeater trigger on the left side of the Royal Oak cases remains the primary external indicator of the internal acoustic complication, preserving the line’s standard aesthetic blend of sportiness and luxury.
Code 11.59 Expands With White Gold Supersonnerie and Stone Dials
The Code 11.59 collection receives a matching Minute Repeater Supersonnerie variant housed in an 18-carat white gold case. Featuring reference 26395BC.OO.D009CR.01 with a thickness of 13.6mm, the watch features a smoked sapphire crystal dial that exposes the manual-winding calibre 2953. White gold baton hands, hour markers, and a grey alligator leather strap complete the monochrome aesthetic. This release expands the Code 11.59 Supersonnerie line, which was first introduced in 2023.
Audemars Piguet rounded out the winter collection with two 38mm Code 11.59 Selfwinding models featuring natural stone dials. The yellow gold obsidian edition features a textured sunray obsidian dial with faceted yellow gold hour markers and retails for £45,300 under reference 77410BA.OO.A604CR.01. The pink gold onyx edition utilizes a mirror-polished onyx dial set with baguette-cut diamond hour markers, retailing for £53,900 under reference 77410OR.OO.A001CR.01. Both dress watches measure 9.6mm thick, maintain a 30-meter water resistance rating, and run on the automatic calibre 5909 with a 60-hour power reserve.
