Axelle and Florian Perronnet of ‘Large Families Life in XXL’ Say Five Children Is Enough

Axelle and Florian Perronnet, featured on the TF1 reality show “Large Families Life in XXL,” have announced they do not plan to have any more children. The decision comes after the recent birth of their fifth child, a daughter named Rosella.

Decision to Limit Family Size

During a recent episode of “Large Families Life in XXL” airing on March 9, 2026, Axelle Perronnet explained her reasoning, stating, “Of course I could have 15, 20, 30 but when you know that you have to repeat the pregnancy, five is enough.” Florian Perronnet echoed his wife’s sentiment, adding, “I agree, five is enough, it’s already very good.”

Family Life with Five Children

The Perronnet family currently consists of Ninna (6 years old), Auxanne (4 years old) and twins Eden and Ambroise (3 years old), in addition to newborn Rosella. Axelle Perronnet expressed feeling complete with their current family size, noting, “Being seven at home now, we feel really complete.”

Home Birth Experience

Rosella’s birth was a home birth, a decision Axelle Perronnet shared with viewers of the show. She reported feeling well shortly after delivery, stating, “36 hours after giving birth, I feel very good. I don’t regret at all having given birth at home.” Axelle also noted she experienced minimal discomfort following the birth, with only a sore throat from exertion and some lower back pain.

Rosella’s Unique Birthmark

Rosella was born with a red spot on her cheek, identified as a birthmark (angioma) by her mother. Axelle Perronnet expressed a desire for her daughter to retain the birthmark, viewing it as a special and unique feature. She hopes the mark will fade before Rosella turns two.
