The Baltimore Ravens unveiled their new “Next Flight” uniform collection ahead of the 2026 NFL season, marking the most significant redesign since 1999. The collection features three primary jersey colors — purple, black and white — along with two new helmet designs and updated striping patterns across the uniform set. Central to the update is the introduction of the “Darkness Helmet,” a matte black helmet with black talon stripes and a two-toned front-facing Ravens logo. This helmet is worn exclusively with the all-black uniform combination, referred to as the “Darkness” look, and is intended for use during night games at M&T Bank Stadium. The team too updated its “Purple Rising” helmet, first introduced in 2024, to feature the primary Ravens logo instead of the previous front-facing design, allowing it to be paired with additional uniform combinations. A new shade, “Midnight Purple,” has been added to the color palette. This color-shifting hue appears vibrant purple under light and shifts toward darker tones in shadow, creating a dynamic visual effect depending on lighting conditions. The uniform set also includes a new collar pattern across all three primary jerseys, depicting a raven’s wings spread wide — a design element that references the feather motifs in the team’s original 1996 logo set. The word “Baltimore” now appears on the front of the white jerseys, typically worn for road games, while the back collar of the purple, black, and Purple Rising jerseys also features the team name. These changes were revealed during an exclusive event at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Landover, Maryland, attended by over 6,000 season-ticket holders. The rollout coincides with a leadership transition, as rookie head coach Jesse Minter replaces John Harbaugh, who held the position since 2008. Offensive coordinator Declan Doyle and defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver also joined the staff, underscoring the broader organizational shift accompanying the uniform unveiling. The “Next Flight” collection will be available for purchase through official NFL retail partners, including Fanatics, with fans able to purchase jerseys, hats, and other apparel featuring the new designs. The uniforms are set to be worn throughout the 2026 season as the franchise enters a new era under its updated visual identity.
