Berlin Artists Art Market Returns to Kühlhaus for Twelfth Edition
The Berlin Artists Art Market (BAAM) will host its twelfth event from November 27 to 29, 2026, transforming the industrial space of the Kühlhaus Berlin into a multi-floor gallery. According to visitberlin.de, the market features a wide array of works from both local and international artists, ranging from photography and prints to traditional paintings.
The event takes place at the historic cold store located at Luckenwalder Straße 3, near the Gleisdreieck park in Kreuzberg. The venue’s architecture provides a raw, expansive backdrop for the exhibition, where hundreds of pieces are displayed from floor to ceiling.
Direct Purchasing and Artist Interaction
A defining feature of the BAAM concept is the elimination of traditional gallery barriers. Attendees can purchase artwork directly off the wall, bypassing the need for appointments or formal registration. Prices for the available pieces are set between €50 and €10,000.
Most participating artists remain on-site during the market’s opening hours. This setup allows visitors to engage directly with the creators, providing insight into the techniques and stories behind the displayed works. The event is designed as a festival rather than a static fair, incorporating live painting sessions, performances, and DJ sets alongside guided tours.
Visit the Market During November Weekend Hours
The market follows an extended schedule to accommodate visitors over the three-day weekend. Doors open on Friday, November 27, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. On Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, the venue operates from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Admission is based on a donation model, with a recommended contribution of €10.
Launch of the BAAM Online Platform
The twelfth edition marks the introduction of “The Artists Art Market,” a new digital platform intended to extend the event’s reach beyond the physical dates. This online space will host the artists featured in the Berlin exhibition, supplemented by approximately 200 additional creators who are represented exclusively online. The platform is scheduled to remain accessible throughout the year, functioning as a permanent extension of the biennial-style market.
