BilibiliWorld 2026 Tickets Go On Sale June 20, Expanding Global Reach

BilibiliWorld 2026, the largest anime, comic, and game (ACG) festival in Asia, will open ticket sales on June 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM Beijing Time, marking the first time the event will offer tickets to audiences in over 190 countries and regions, according to Bilibili’s official announcement. The event, scheduled for July 10–12, 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, will feature more than 170 participating companies, setting a new record for scale, the company said.

Global Expansion for BilibiliWorld 2026

The 2026 iteration of BilibiliWorld represents a significant shift in the festival’s international outreach. Previously limited to domestic audiences, the event will now allow global fans to purchase tickets, reflecting Bilibili’s growing influence beyond China. This move follows the success of BilibiliWorld 2025, which drew over 400,000 attendees from 20+ countries, with 13% of ticket buyers using international passports, according to Bilibili’s 2025 event report.

“This expansion underscores Bilibili’s commitment to fostering global ACG culture,” said a representative from Bilibili. “We aim to create a platform where creators and fans from around the world can connect.”

Record Participation and Registration Numbers

Pre-registration for BilibiliWorld 2026 has already surpassed last year’s figures, with over 1 million sign-ups as of June 18, 2025, according to Bilibili’s internal data. The event’s organizers cited this as evidence of heightened global interest, particularly in regions like Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, where ACG fandom has seen rapid growth.

The 2026 edition will feature 170+ exhibitors, including major studios, game developers, and independent creators. Past participants have included industry giants like Capcom, Square Enix, and Nintendo, though specific 2026 exhibitors have not yet been announced.

What to Expect at the 2026 Event

BilibiliWorld 2026 is expected to include panels, cosplay competitions, and exclusive previews of upcoming ACG projects. The event’s 2025 iteration featured a collaboration with the Chinese animated film *The Lost Valley*, which later received a theatrical release, highlighting the festival’s role in promoting ACG content. Organizers have not yet disclosed details about 2026’s special attractions.
