borisov Addresses Protest at his Bankya Home
Boyko Borisov, leader of GERB, responded to last night’s protest outside his home in bankya. He expressed concern over the impact on his neighbors, noting he had taken three children outside when the exhibition began.
“I took three children out to the neighbors; they were already upset. But I notice the other parties are silent. Life works in cycles, and their time will come when protests happen outside their homes – not mine, but others. I’m a victim and understand how unpleasant this is. This “fashion” will return to haunt them,” Borisov stated while at the parliament. He specifically asked the media not to portray his comments as threats.
Borisov believes the protest was a paid provocation. He claims approximately 50 people participated, and that they were compensated for their presence.
“We tracked them; they gathered on Lyulin, received payment in the parking lot, and then left,” Borisov said.He did not identify who funded the demonstration.
