Bruce Lee, born November 27, 1940 in San Francisco, United States, and died July 20, 1973 in Hong Kong, China, remains one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Much more than just an actor, he revolutionized the perception of martial arts.

Founder of jeet kune do, a martial art, Bruce Lee rejected the rigidity of traditional styles to advocate adaptability: “Be like water” he said. His charisma on screen, notably in cult films like “The Fury of Conqueror” (1972) and “Operation Dragon” (1973), broke racial stereotypes, thus paving the way for future generations of actors.

Although his career was dazzling and tragically short, his legacy endures today. Indeed, he transformed action cinema, popularized Kung-fu in the West and inspired millions of people with his discipline and wisdom.
