“I wanted to be a part of this event because it is a historic and meaningful event, but it is unfortunate and unfair that they have completely blocked it,” said Jeon Yoon-hee, 65, who traveled to Gwanghwamun hoping to experience the concert atmosphere. Another attendee, Oh, 45, expressed disappointment, stating he and his daughters were unable to obtain close despite living nearby. Chloe, a 19-year-old American international student, shared a similar sentiment, noting the police blockade despite hoping to view the concert from a distance.
