Avalanche Theater Seeks Actors for Workshop Production of “Girls, girls, girls!”

Avalanche Theatre is holding auditions for a workshop development of Aisha Hamid’s new play, Girls, girls, girls!, as part of their Next Draft Series. The production, directed by Alex Mallory, explores the lives of five Pakistani girl-mothers in their late 60s as they navigate group therapy for the first time, confronting themes of womanhood, motherhood, and loss.
About the Play
Girls, girls, girls! centers on five women who gather to openly discuss their experiences and collectively mourn and celebrate their journeys through girlhood, womanhood, and motherhood.The play delves into profound questions about life after significant life stages have passed and finding purpose in the absence of defining roles.
Audition Details
No prior acting experience or formal training is required for this possibility. Avalanche Theatre is especially interested in performers whose identities and experiences align with the characters. Both equity and non-equity actors are encouraged to apply.
