Christina Aguilera Unveils Nude Bathtub Selfie Ahead of Annual Halloween Celebration
Christina Aguilera shared a nude bathtub selfie on Instagram, covering her chest with strategic ghost emojis while teasing her upcoming Halloween celebration, Fox News reported. The Grammy-winning pop singer stood in a dimly lit bathroom, leaning against the tub and snapping the mirror reflection with her phone while her platinum blonde hair fell across her face. “Last looks before Xtinaween,” Aguilera captioned the post alongside a string of Halloween emojis, signaling the imminent arrival of her annual holiday celebration.
Fan Reactions and Celebrity Context
The provocative social media post quickly drew heavy engagement from fans across the platform. One user joked in the comments that “that wasn’t an earthquake it was just me falling to my knees,” while another declared, “She’s the moment she’s an icon she’s a star,” as reported by Fox News. Billboard noted that the explicit selfie arrives shortly after Aguilera made a surprise appearance at Chappell Roan’s Super Graphic Spectacular show in Los Angeles on Oct. 21. During that concert, she belted out her 2002 hit “Beautiful” and joined Roan to duet on “Coffee.” On stage, Roan praised Aguilera as someone who “paved the way for me and all women in pop to do whatever the f–k they want.” E! News added that Aguilera’s stylist, Chris Horan, also chimed in on the Instagram post with a playful comment hinting at the star’s forthcoming costume: “I ain’t ‘fraid of those ghosts.”
Social Media Scrutiny and Personal Boundaries
The bathtub photo continues a streak of daring fashion choices for the singer, following a topless look paired with a diamond necklace and black tulle skirt during a trip to Paris earlier in the year. Alongside her bold online presence, Aguilera has actively pushed back against public scrutiny regarding her appearance. In December 2024, the “Genie in a Bottle” artist shared a video montage featuring online comments that criticized her looks and speculated about potential Ozempic use. In that post, Aguilera reminded her followers that “no one deserves an explanation” and stressed the importance of self-acceptance. While internet speculation regarding Ozempic use has persisted, Aguilera has not directly addressed those rumors, choosing instead to focus on personal growth as she balances her career and her life as a mother to her two children, Max and Summer.
