Córdoba Municipality Announces 2026 Community Sports Program Registration

The Municipality of Córdoba is opening registration for its annual 2026 sports and recreational activities through the Community Social Sports program. These offerings will be available at various municipal sports centers throughout the city, catering to residents of all ages and abilities.

Inclusive Programs for All

The program is designed to be inclusive, with proposals for boys, girls, young people, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. A wide range of sports, recreational, and adapted disciplines are offered, with activities scheduled in both morning and afternoon shifts at each sports center.

Free or Reduced-Cost Participation

Most activities are free of charge, with continued exemptions for individuals over 60 years of age. The Municipality aims to encourage participation and promote physical activity as a healthy habit, fostering a sense of community and providing spaces for social interaction.

Activity Locations and Schedules

Here’s a breakdown of activities offered at each sports center:

1. General Paz Sports Center

Location: Rome 155 – B° General Paz

Morning Shift: Aquatic gymnastics (young adults), Swimming (seniors), Aquatic gymnastics for people with obesity, Folklore, Newcom, Adapted gymnastics, Stretches and rhythms, Toad, shuffleboard and bocce ball, Aquatic activities for people with disabilities and reduced mobility, Gymnastics adapted for reduced mobility.

Late Shift: Adapted swimming, Child motor skills (8 to 12 years), Tennis, Basketball and soccer for people with disabilities, Rhythmic gymnastics, Mixed and women’s basketball, Mixed football and volleyball, Recreational and non-contact boxing, Swimming for all ages, Acrobatic gymnastics.

2. General Bustos Sports Center

Location: Belindo Soaje 616 – B° General Bustos

Morning Shift: Postural adapted gymnastics, Aquatic gymnastics, Initial and advanced swimming, Newcom, art and movement, Folklore, Water activities for people with disabilities.

Late Shift: Aquatic activities for people with disabilities (includes visual impairment), Swimming for children, adolescents, youth and adults, Mixed football, Hockey mixto.

3. Club Municipality of Córdoba

Location: Avellaneda 2751 – B° Alta Córdoba – Tel: 3518957442

Morning Shift: Folklore, Newcom, Adapted gymnastics, Yoga, Swimming, Toad, shuffleboard and bocce ball.

Late Shift: Functional training, Mixed football, Mixed basketball, Sports schools for blind people (football, hockey and tennis).

4. Sports Center Corral de Palos

Location: Cape Henry Guastoni 3400-B° Stick Yard

Morning Shift: Adapted gymnastics, Rhythms, Yoga, Newcom.

Late Shift: Mixed basketball, Mixed volleyball, Mixed football, Hockey mixto, Acrobatic gymnastics, Boxing, Functional training, GAP.

5. Los Algarrobos Sports Center

Location: Cajamarca 2200 – B° Santa Isabel

Morning Shift: Adapted gymnastics, Folklore, Newcom.

Late Shift: Mixed basketball, Mixed volleyball, Hockey mixto, Mixed football, Adapted gymnastics.

6. Carlos Cerutti Sports Center

Location: Martín A. Pinzón 1050 – B° San Martín

Morning Shift: Gym, Pilates.

Late Shift: Recreational boxing, Karate, Basketball for people with visual disabilities, Mixed and maintenance basketball, Volleyball, soccer and mixed hockey.

7. Los Gigantes Sports Center

Location: Fray Cayetano Rodríguez 290-B° Los Gigantes- 0351-5007870

Morning Shift: Gymnastics, rhythms, Adapted gymnastics, Folklore, Newcom, Yoga.

Late Shift: Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey mixto, Basketball for adults.

8. Central Argentine Sports Center

Location: Santiso y Moscoso 960 – B° General Bustos

Morning Shift: Adapted gymnastics, Toad, shuffleboard and bocce ball.

Late Shift: Gym, Hockey and soccer for boys, girls and teenagers.

9. Sarmiento Park Sports Center

Location: Amado Roldán s/n – B° Nueva Córdoba- Tel: 422-4436

Morning Shift: Adapted gymnastics and walks.

Late Shift: Adapted gymnastics and rhythms, Functional training, Women’s soccer, Acrobatic gymnastics, Skate (initiation).

10. Sports Center Route 19

Location: 1500 Ricardo Balbin Avenue, Provincial Route 19 km 1, 1⁄2- Tel: 433-8

Late Shift: Mixed boxing, Sports initiation, Mixed football, Hockey, Functional training.

Registration Requirements

To participate, individuals must register at their chosen sports center and provide the following:

  • Under 50 years of age: ID, electrocardiogram (ECG) with report, photocopy of updated CUS (if enrolled in school), medical record from the sports center.
  • Over 50 years: ID, ergometry (ECG with report) and medical record of the program authorized by a family doctor.
  • People with disabilities: ID, electrocardiogram (ECG) with report, Unique Disability Certificate (CUD), program medical record.
