Cuban Teen Leah Reyes Amores Crowned Miss Teen Universe 2026

Leah Reyes Amores, a 16-year-old model from Cuba, has been crowned Miss Teen Universe 2026 following an international competition held in Cambodia. The global pageant brought together young delegates from multiple nations for various presentations and activities leading up to the final gala.

Victory Celebration and Dedication to Cuba

Following her win, Reyes Amores shared an emotional post on Instagram celebrating the outcome. NOUS L’AVONS FAIT, CUBA ! L’UNIVERS ES À NOUS ! she wrote, expressing deep pride in representing her nation on an international stage. She further stated, Nous l’avons fait !

The young model emphasized that her journey carried significance far beyond receiving a physical prize. Reyes Amores directed special thanks to her family, her preparation team, and the global Cuban diaspora, declaring that Grâce à Dieu, à ma famille, à mon équipe et à chaque Cubain qui a cru en moi depuis le premier jour.

International Career Milestones

The Miss Teen Universe victory adds to a growing list of accomplishments in Reyes Amores’ modeling and pageant career. In August 2025, she won the title of Miss Teen Earth 2025 in India, where she earned recognition for Best National Costume through designs inspired by the element fire and by Oshún, a victory that propelled her visibility in the world of youth pageants and which she also dedicated back then to the Cubans who supported her from a distance. Expanding her presence beyond pageantry, she also made history in June 2026 by becoming the first Cuban to appear on the cover of L’Officiel Monaco, following an editorial production in the Principality of Monaco.
