Murder Suspect Apprehended in Darlington County following Multi-Agency Search
Darlington County, S.C.- A suspect wanted for murder in Richland County was taken into custody Sunday morning in Darlington County, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).
Deputies were alerted on Saturday to be on the lookout for the individual, whose identity has not yet been released pending notification of family. The search extended into Darlington County following the recovery of an abandoned vehicle connected to the inquiry in the Lydia area.
The Hartsville Police Department and the South Carolina Highway Patrol provided crucial assistance in locating and apprehending the suspect. Details regarding the circumstances of the arrest and the ongoing investigation have not been disclosed at this time.
This incident occurred amidst another recent investigation in the region, where one person was injured and two were detained following a shooting near the Coastal Grand Mall.
