10 Chambers Restructures, Lays Off Staff Amidst ‘Den of Wolves’ Development

Swedish game developer 10 Chambers, known for the co-op shooter GTFO, has announced a “significant restructuring” resulting in a “large number” of layoffs, including several of the studio’s co-founders. The move comes as the studio focuses on the development of its upcoming heist game, Den of Wolves.

Focus on ‘Den of Wolves’

According to a statement released by 10 Chambers, the restructuring is intended to ensure Den of Wolves reaches its full potential. “We can confirm that we’re taking a hard look at how we work and how the studio is set up, so Den of Wolves can become the game it deserves to be,” a spokesperson said. Impact of the Restructuring

The restructuring impacts a significant portion of the studio’s workforce, including co-founders. Hjalmar Vikström, one of the co-founders, announced his departure earlier this week, though he did not directly link it to the restructuring. Ulf Anderson and Simon Viklund remain committed to leading the studio and the development of Den of Wolves.
