Djurgården Announces Departure of Five Players Following SHL Season
Djurgården Hockey has announced that five players will be leaving the club following the conclusion of the 2025/2026 SHL season. The departing players are Joey LaLeggia, Oliver Kylington, Valtteri Pulli, Samuel Solem, and Oula Palve, all of whom were under contract for the recently completed season.
Joey LaLeggia Retires, Transitions to Agent Role
Joey LaLeggia, 33, has decided to retire from professional hockey and will be pursuing a career as a player agent. LaLeggia had a significant impact during his time with Djurgården, leading the team in scoring during the regular season with 40 points (13 goals and 27 assists) in 53 games. His 40-point season is the highest total ever recorded by a Djurgårds defenseman in the SHL.

Other Departures
Oliver Kylington, 28, played 28 games for Djurgården, bringing NHL experience to the team. Valtteri Pulli, 25, appeared in 30 games, while Oula Palve, 34, and Samuel Solem, 26, contributed in 20 and 11 games respectively.
