Rosalía Cancels Milan Concert Due to Severe Food Poisoning
Rosalía was forced to abruptly finish her performance at the Unipol Forum in Milan, Italy, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, due to severe food poisoning. This marks the first time in her career that the superstar has canceled a concert mid-show.
Illness Forces Show to a Halt
The 33-year-old singer, performing as part of her Lux Tour, addressed the audience, explaining she had been battling illness and attempted to continue the performance despite feeling unwell. “I tried to do this show from the particularly beginning even though I’ve been sick,” she said in footage shared on social media. “I’ve had, like, really severe food poisoning and I tried to push through until the end, but I’m feeling extremely unwell.”
According to reports from Just Jared and La Milano, Rosalía experienced symptoms during the concert, struggling to manage the effects of the food poisoning. She stated she had been vomiting backstage and was in significant pain.
A Difficult Decision
Despite her efforts to continue, Rosalía ultimately determined she could not safely complete the show. “I’ve been throwing up backstage and I really want to give the best show, and I’m basically on the floor trying my best,” she explained to the audience. “I can try to continue, but at some point I might have to stop… I’m extremely sick, and I’m really trying, I’ll push as much as I can, but if we have to stop, we might have to if I physically can’t continue. I’m in pain.”
As reported by Los40, the concert was ultimately canceled, leaving fans in suspense.
Future Performances
As of March 26, 2026, there has been no official announcement regarding the impact of Rosalía’s illness on upcoming tour dates, including her scheduled performances in Spain beginning March 30th.
