Doctor Tifa Claims Investigative Techniques Used on Jokowi Diploma Case Taught at CIA and FBI

Jakarta – Tifauzia Tyassuma, known as Dokter Tifa, a suspect in a defamation and hoax case, has stated she is a behavioral expert. She claims the expertise she utilized to investigate former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) regarding allegations of a fake diploma was developed through a field of study as well taught at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

“The knowledge that I used to research Joko Widodo’s behavior regarding this diploma was the knowledge that was taught at the CIA, taught at the FBI, at the police intelligence agency,” Dokter Tifa stated during a press conference in Tebet, South Jakarta, on Monday, February 16, 2026 (Sindonews). “So my knowledge is not magical knowledge, very ordinary knowledge.”

Concerns Regarding Bareskrim Polri’s Findings

Dokter Tifa expressed concerns about inconsistencies in the investigation conducted by Bareskrim Polri. She pointed to a statement made on May 22, 2025, asserting that Jokowi’s diploma was identical to a comparative sample. She noted that during a press conference, Bareskrim presented two different diploma specimens (Repelita).

“At the same time, two different diploma specimens appeared. This is interesting,” she said (Okezone).

Multiple Diploma Specimens

Dokter Tifa claims that at least six different diploma specimens have been shown to the public since the issue surfaced, and none have been definitively identical to a diploma from the Faculty of Forestry at Gadjah Mada University from 1985 (iNews.id).
