Mohammed Shakaa Collects 53 iPhones to Claim Latest Duo in Dubai
Dubai resident Mohammed Shakaa arrived at a local Apple Store carrying 53 personal devices ranging from the first-generation iPhone to the iPhone 18 Pro Max, to collect two new Apple iPhone Duos. Staff had contacted Shakaa the previous day and invited him to bring his personal lineup to the store. Shakaa stated that he has almost the whole iPhone collection, often featuring multiple color variants for individual models.
Shakaa Collects iPhones to Track Apple Technology Evolution
Collecting iPhones serves as both a personal challenge and a long-standing hobby for Shakaa, who keeps the devices displayed at home. While he owns a small number of devices from other manufacturers such as Motorola and Samsung, he remains dedicated to Apple’s ecosystem. “My real interest has always been Apple,” Shakaa said, noting that he appreciates the continuous evolution in cameras, touch technology, batteries, and operating systems across different generations.
Three-Year Wait for Apple Foldables and a Completed Hat-Trick
Originally from Karachi, Shakaa followed rumors regarding Apple’s foldable phone for over three years before bookings for the Apple Duo finally opened. Receiving the new hardware completed what he calls a personal hat-trick, marking three years in a row that he has been among the first people in line for a major Apple launch in Dubai. Worldnews.com coverage noted that the collector brought 53 iPhones to the store to pick up the latest Duo in Dubai.
Future Ambitions for California Launch Events
With his local milestones achieved, Shakaa’s next ambition is to attend an Apple launch event in California. He hopes the company will one day take him to California so he can be number one there and demonstrate the extent of his craze for these phones firsthand. For now, he stated that he wants to give other people an opportunity to be first in line in Dubai after completing his own run.
