Daddy Pig to Tackle London Marathon for Deaf Children’s Charity

Beloved children’s animated character Daddy Pig will participate in the TCS London Marathon on April 26th, raising funds and awareness for the National Deaf Children’s Society. The initiative coincides with a storyline in the Peppa Pig cartoon revealing that his son, George Pig, is moderately deaf.

Supporting Deaf Children Across the UK

Daddy Pig aims to raise £54,000 for the National Deaf Children’s Society, reflecting the fact that over 54,000 children in the UK are affected by hearing loss . The funds will support the charity’s function providing guidance, campaigning for change and offering specialist local support to deaf children and their families.

Marathon Tracking and Family Involvement

Fans can track Daddy Pig’s progress during the marathon using the TCS London Marathon app, where donations will also be accepted . The Peppa Pig family will also be present at the TCS Mini London Marathon on April 25th, featuring Peppa Pig-themed activities, warm-ups, meet-and-greets, and a fan zone .

A Special Episode and Community Support

A special episode of Peppa Pig featuring Daddy Pig’s marathon journey will air on Milkshake from April 18th . George Crockford, chief executive of the National Deaf Children’s Society, expressed gratitude for Daddy Pig’s support, stating that every penny raised will support the organization assist more deaf children and their families .
