ESMT Berlin Announces Scholarships for Women in Executive Education

ESMT Berlin is offering a range of full and partial scholarships for women leaders seeking to advance their careers through its Executive Education programs in 2026. This initiative underscores the business school’s commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the global business community and aims to empower more women to seize on top leadership roles.

Scholarship Programs and Details

The scholarships will be awarded for three flagship programs:

Bringing Technology to Market (BTM)

• Scholarship Amount: Partial scholarships of €7,300 each.
• Target Audience: Women who lead a business unit or regional subsidiary, or are responsible for a new product, market, or service within a corporation.
• Application Deadline: March 29, 2026

General Management Seminar (GMS)

• Scholarship Amount: Full scholarships valued at €20,500 each, and partial scholarships valued at €10,250.
• Target Audience: Female candidates with demonstrated leadership experience in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
• Application Deadline: June 30, 2026

Executive Transition Program (ETP)

• Scholarship Amount: Full scholarships valued at €28,500 each, and partial scholarships valued at €14,250.
• Target Audience: Professionals with a proven track record who are ready to take on, or have recently assumed, a general management role.
• Application Deadline: June 30, 2026

Addressing the Gender Gap in Leadership

The initiative comes at a critical time, as women continue to be underrepresented in executive and managerial positions across Europe. According to recent data, women hold approximately one-third of these roles in Germany and Europe . ESMT’s scholarships aim to address this imbalance by expanding access to advanced executive education and building a strong network of female leaders.
