Gandia to Host Historic European Snooker Championship

Gandia, Spain, is set to host the European Snooker Championship from March 1st to 17th, 2026, at the Gandia Palace Hotel. The event will encompass various categories, including under-16, under-18, under-21, and the absolute category, alongside the WPBSA Q Tour.

A Landmark Event for Spain

This marks the first time Spain has hosted the European Snooker Championship, a milestone acknowledged by Javier Muñoz, president of the Valencian Billiard Federation and member of the Spanish Federation. He expressed gratitude to the European Federation, the Organizing Committee, and the Gandia Palace Hotel for their involvement in making this event a reality Som Gandia.

Significant Participation and Logistical Complexity

The championship is expected to draw over 450 participants from across Europe. Maxime Cassis, president of the European Snooker Federation, confirmed participation from 41 European countries, totaling 462 confirmed players and over 650 individuals including players, family members, and technicians Som Gandia.
