Korea Boardgames Releases Four New Tabletop Titles
Korea Boardgames launched four new tabletop titles on October 26, 2025, expanding its catalog with deduction games, party card adaptations, abstract trick-taking mechanics, and portable dexterity sets, game.donga.com reported. The releases span distinct player counts and playstyles, headlined by a comprehensive boxed edition of a deduction favorite.
Resistance Avalon Big Box Adds Modular Roles and Hidden Motives
The publisher released Resistance Avalon Big Box as a complete edition of the social deduction game, introducing more than 10 new characters and modular rules that alter player dynamics. The box incorporates simultaneous roles for good and evil factions through rogue, wizard, and messenger modules alongside the Excalibur rule, which allows players to reverse quest outcomes. Intrigue cards further modify psychological play by hiding or revealing identities during expeditions.
Uno K-Pop Demon Hunters Integrates Thematic Wild Mechanics
Korea Boardgames also introduced Uno K-Pop Demon Hunters, adapting the classic shed-all-cards gameplay with characters from the property. The release adds a Wild Golden Honmoon card that requires all participants to discard a Huntrix card from their hand. Players lacking the matching card must draw from the deck until a Huntrix card appears, creating a shifting win condition based on timing.
Oishi Daeyangseup Removes Suits for Number-Driven Trick-Taking
Oishi Daeyangseup shifts traditional trick-taking design by discarding suits in favor of pure numerical values. The game establishes rules based on the relationship between the first two played cards: if the second player plays a higher number, subsequent players must follow suit with higher numbers, and vice versa. Failing to meet the condition alters how players collect the trick. Because collecting tricks incurs cucumber penalty points, participants must manage their hands to avoid winning specific sets.
Crokinole Light Scales Down Physical Components for Portability
The lineup includes Crokinole Light, a compact adaptation of the dexterity game that replaces wooden boards with plastic components and reduces overall dimensions for easier transport. The publisher simplified the rules for two-player sessions and streamlined scoring into a single method.
