The Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 Singapore awards named five business leaders as winners across diverse industry sectors, according to an announcement from the professional services organization.
The selected executives emerged from a pool of over 50 eligible nominations evaluated by an independent judging panel chaired by Lee Chuan Teck, Executive Chairman of Enterprise Singapore. The selection process assessed candidates against four global criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, growth, purpose, and impact.
2026 Singapore Award Winners and Categories
According to Ernst & Young Solutions LLP, the five recipients span financial technology, retail, advanced manufacturing, and commodities:
- Financial Technology (Digital Financial Solutions): Jefferson Chen, Co-founder, Group Chairman and CEO of Advance Intelligence Group.
- Consumer Products and Retail: Lim Hock Chee, CEO and Co-founder of Sheng Siong Group Ltd.
- Advanced Manufacturing: Dr. Byung Joon (BJ) Han, Co-founder, CEO and Board Director of Silicon Box Pte Ltd.
- Commodities and Agriculture: Praveen Kumar Jain, Chairman and Co-founder of Valency International Pte Ltd.
- Financial Technology (Payment Solutions): Caecilia Chu, CEO and Co-founder of YouTrip.
Selection Process and Global Representation
The independent panel selected the winners based on their merits in fulfilling the four global criteria. Lee Chuan Teck stated that the honorees stand out for their resilience in navigating challenges and their role in strengthening Singapore’s reputation as a hub for innovation and enterprise leadership.
Liew Nam Soon, EY Asia East Deputy Regional Managing Partner, Asean Managing Partner and Singapore and Brunei Managing Partner at Ernst & Young Solutions LLP, noted that the program highlights how entrepreneurs create socioeconomic value beyond immediate financial success.
One of the five category winners will be named the overall EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 Singapore. That representative will compete against contenders from close to 50 countries and jurisdictions at the annual EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ (WEOY) award in 2027.
Awards Gala and Schedule
The overall Singapore representative will be announced at the EY EOY Awards Gala scheduled for November 25, 2026. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) Gan Kim Yong will serve as the Guest-of-honor for the event.
