Iconic 2005/06 FC Barcelona Shirt Re-Released
FC Barcelona and Nike have re-released the club’s iconic 2005/06 home jersey, commemorating a historic season for the blaugrana. The re-release coincides with a Sunday afternoon match against Rayo Vallecano.
A Season of Champions
The 2005/06 season was a triumphant one for FC Barcelona, marked by winning their second UEFA Champions League title – defeating Arsenal 2–1 – and securing their 18th La Liga title. The team boasted a star-studded lineup, most notably featuring Ronaldinho, who would go on to win the 2005 Ballon d’Or.
A particularly memorable moment from that season was a 3-0 victory against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Ronaldinho scored two goals and received an ovation from the Madrid crowd.
The Return of a Classic Design
The re-released jersey features the classic Nike Total 90 aesthetic, including the traditional blaugrana stripes and period logos such as TV3 and LaLiga. The design pays tribute to a unique player and a captivating era of football, as Ronaldinho’s style of play helped shape the modern game.
Availability
Fans can purchase the jersey starting Sunday through the club’s online store, at the Barça Store at Spotify Camp Nou, and on Nike’s SNKRS app. Availability will expand to the rest of the club’s retail network and Nike stores from Monday onward.
