Daniel Fitzgerald joins First Interstate Bank with 24 years of experience in the financial and credit sectors. His career includes roles at several notable financial and credit institutions, specifically John Deere Financial, Kent Feeds, Sinclair Tractor, and West Bank.
Fitzgerald’s expertise centers on commercial relationship management—a role that involves securing new business opportunities and managing existing portfolios.
Academic Foundation and Local Leadership
Fitzgerald’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business management from Iowa State University and an MBA from St. Ambrose University.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, he maintains an active role in regional business organizations. He previously served as the board chair for the Johnston Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he serves as the board treasurer for the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines.
