For Honor’s Assassin’s Creed Throwback Event Returns with New Hero Skins
For Honor’s mid-season update for Year 10 Season 1 brings back the popular Assassin’s Creed crossover event, running from April 23 to May 14, 2026. The “For the Creed Throwback Event” features Assassin e Templari game mode, exclusive hero skins, and special rewards inspired by Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Valhalla, and classic titles.
Event Details and Gameplay
The Assassin e Templari mode is a modified Dominion variant played on Citadel Gate, River Fort, and Beachhead maps. Teams compete to capture lanes and summon commanders—either Ezio Auditore or Cesare Borgia—to earn points. Defeating an enemy commander awards 300 points, making commander protection a key strategic element.
Players can progress through the free event pass by participating in Assassin e Templari matches or completing daily orders. The pass unlocks Assassin’s Creed-themed weapons, battle outfits, ornaments, and exclusive visual effects.
Hero Skins and Customization
This year’s update introduces three new hero skins directly tied to Assassin’s Creed Shadows:
- Naoe the Swift for Shinobi
- Yasuke the Brave for Shugoki
- Eivor Wolf-Kissed for Berserker
These skins feature voice work from the original Japanese voice actors of Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Naoe and Yasuke, while Eivor’s dialogue remains in Icelandic to reflect the character’s Valhalla origins.
Additional customization options include:
- Battle of Heroes battle outfit
- Valhalla Quest battle outfit
- Animus Project battle outfit
- Ruler of the Masses elite outfit
- Heroes of Heathmoor ornament
- Synin’s Wings ornament
- Exclusive weapon customization for Shinobi, Shugoki, Berserker, and Peacekeeper
Visual effects available during the event include Vitruvian Hero, Welcome to Valhalla, and Templar Synchronization.

The event coincides with For Honor’s participation in the Steam Medieval Fest, running from April 20 to 27, 2026. During this period, all editions of For Honor are available at 85% off on Steam.
