Hello and welcome to INDV, I’m Aditya Raj Kaul. The film Durandal has been creating waves not just in India but all across the globes. But what is also creating waves are the songs of Thunder. Not just one but multiple songs. But there is one song that is everywhere from your Instagram reels to facebook, from the chart busters to your Spotify and everywhere else. But who is behind that FASLA song? There is of course a Bahraini hip hop singer and a DJ and joining us live. Exclusively here from Bahrain is DJ Outlaw and Flipper Rache. Thank you very much for joining us guys here on NDTV.What have you done? I mean, where should I begin, really? flip pracht that you know, I go through my Instagram reel and there are onyl Akshay Khanna and your voice. People are creating reals. People are creating their own version of videos. People are creating their own version. And you know, the same song in different languages. Had you expected? What’s your first reaction? To be honest, it says something that is really crazy to me. And then the love and support is astonishing, how the people have received the song and they loved it. Even though not a lot of people understand the lyrics to the song, but they have done their own versions. They have loved the beat, they have loved the Vibe. It’s actually fossilize really, if you want to translate it, it’s called The Vibe. So everybody was on The vibe and I really appreciate the indian community for really. Like from there, from the from from the bottom my heart like really loving this song so and and showing support and love back. Well, for clarity of the viewers that I am also the research consultant for the film and you know I’ve gone through the film in detail story wise but I didn’t know that Aditya had this magic in place. He had told me that he is getting some songs out there for the viewers but this is electric. This is never seen before. The chart Busters are going berserk with this song. Also for the viewers, I want to say that Flipper Ache is actually also the real name of Hosam Aseem and the DJ Outlaw who is joining us here. Life is Mohammed al

It was mind-blowing to us, and we didn’t hesitate for a minute to be involved in a Bollywood movie because the Indian community is the king of entertainment, and Bollywood is up there, hitting charts and breaking records. So, it was easy for us to decide to do this – it’s the next big thing. We wish we coudl do another track for them, but they said this track was perfect for the scene. It’s not just perfect; it is the track of India right now, and I’m sure in Bahrain as well. It’s been used in a lot of commercials, and people are using it themselves.

DJ Outlaw, one interesting thing about this song is that people are unable to sing it. Of course, there’s the language barrier, but it’s also the beats, the tone, and the tenor that make you groove, dance, and move. Do you think that’s the cultural connection? People may not know the language, but the music is the language. That’s the power of music – it speaks for itself, and everybody understands it.

My beat is always about bounce and groove before it becomes a song. It has a feeling that anyone can listen to and immediately vibe with.with this song, it wasn’t just the Indian tabla or the Khaliji beats; it was the fusion, the mix of both.People got a different vibe – it’s Indian, but not entirely; it’s Khaliji, but not entirely; it’s hip hop, but not entirely. It’s mind-blowing to them, and it’s mind-blowing to me that I was able to connect with people through my music.

Flip Prachi, when you first saw the scene – perhaps the entire entrance of Akshay Khanna with the song and his moves in the desert as he goes to Balochistan – what was your reaction? Interestingly, the scene is in Balochistan, but the song is Arabic. Did you expect this kind of reaction?

No, I didn’t expect it to blow up like this.People don’t understand what I’m saying, but the beat is powerful, and the sample is crazy. It got to them, and they wanted an Indian version of the track. To have this type of impact, I wouldn’t have believed it in a thousand years. We had the Indian flavor, but I didn’t know it would rise to this level.

There have been a lot of reels and memes, and the film is doing well – a global blockbuster, not just in India. It’s a Hindi language film, but people all across the globe are watching it and it’s top of the charts.
