Galatasaray and Amedspor Meet at RAMS Park for Top-of-the-Table Clash
Trendyol Süper Lig leaders Galatasaray host second-placed Amedspor on November 7, 2026, in an 11th-week fixture that carries immediate implications for the league summit, Fanatik reported. Entering the weekend at RAMS Park, Galatasaray holds 25 points from 10 matches, leading the standings by a two-point margin. Amedspor follows closely in second place with 23 points, having secured seven victories, two draws, and a single defeat in their opening campaign at this level. This fixture marks the first time both clubs square off in Süper Lig history, turning an ordinary autumn match into a direct battle for the top spot before the domestic league pauses for the international break.
Squad Absences and Disciplinary Suspensions Impact Both Lineups
Squad composition dictates tactical adjustments for both managers as injuries and suspensions sideline key personnel. Galatasaray captain Abdülkerim Bardakcı misses the encounter due to a red-card suspension stemming from the 9th-week derby against Fenerbahçe, according to Sözcü Gazetesi. Forward Victor Osimhen also remains unavailable for the hosts as he is due to undergo knee surgery. Amedspor travels to Istanbul without forward Samuel Ballet, who serves a three-match ban issued by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) following an incident in the Eyüpspor match, alongside the injured Dilhan Demir. Sözcü Gazetesi added that Galatasaray players Rafael Leao, Roland Sallai, and Davinson Sanchez enter the match walking a disciplinary tightrope as players on yellow card caution limits.
