Gaurs Group Invests ₹250 Crore in Noida Precast Manufacturing Facility

Gaurs Group, a leading real estate developer in Delhi-NCR, is significantly expanding its construction capabilities with a ₹250 crore investment in a precast manufacturing facility and modular construction operations in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This move aims to enhance efficiency, reduce project timelines, and strengthen the group’s position in the competitive real estate market.

Strategic Partnership with Elematic India

The investment follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on February 19, 2026, with Elematic India, the Indian arm of Finland-based Elematic Group, a global provider of precast concrete technology. The signing ceremony was attended by Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Finland’s Ambassador to India, Kimmo Lähdevirta.1

The agreement was formalized by Veshesh Gaur, Director of Gaurs Group, Chander Dutta, Managing Director of Elematic India, and Teppo Voutilainen, CEO of Elematic Oyj, Finland.1

Facility Details and Production Capacity

The initial phase of the plant will see an investment of approximately ₹100 crore.2 The 5-acre facility will manufacture advanced precast concrete components, including slabs, columns, beams, and walls.1 Operations are expected to commence within six months.

Modular Component Orders

In addition to the plant construction, Gaurs Group has placed an advance order with Jindal Elematic, Alwar, for 45,000 units of modular bathrooms and 10,000 units of kitchen pods for its ongoing projects, totaling an order book value of ₹150 crore.1

Benefits of Precast Construction

Gaurs Group anticipates that integrating technology-led construction practices will improve execution efficiency and reduce project timelines by almost 30%.1 Precast construction involves manufacturing and assembling structural and utility components off-site in a controlled environment before installing them on-site.

The aim is to shorten project delivery by almost 6 months to a year with this pre-cast technology.1
