Gerald Charles Unveils Turquoise Maestro GC Sports Watch
Gerald Charles has released the Maestro GC Sports Tennis Turquoise, a lightweight titanium timepiece designed specifically for wear during tennis matches. The release introduces a light turquoise blue dial to the Maestro collection for the first time, paired with a matching face-fastener strap.
Dark blast-finished titanium forms the case, creating a visual contrast with the bright dial. The watch face features a grain-textured surface with a delicate gradient that darkens toward the outer edge. Light variations and wrist movements alter the color tones across the dial.
Titanium Case Engineering and ErgonTeq System
Engineered for on-court performance, the case uses grade 5 titanium and measures 41mm by 39mm with a thickness of 9mm. The watch weighs 64g.
The brand applies its ErgonTeq system to optimize weight distribution and wrist contact. Case curves and lug shapes reduce wrist strain during movement. The screw-down crown sits on the 9 o’clock side to prevent rubbing against the back of the hand during play.
Automatic Movement and Shock Resistance Specifications
Powered by the automatic Caliber GCA 2.0, the movement measures 3.7mm thick and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 50-hour power reserve. The watch withstands impacts up to 5G during active play.
The exhibition case back displays the 28-jewel movement, featuring a honeycomb rotor design and Côtes de Genève finishing.
