Attempted Murder Investigation Underway in Haugesund Following Violent Incident

Haugesund, Norway – February 18, 2026 – Police in Haugesund are investigating an attempted murder following a violent incident at a private residence on Tuesday evening. Two men, in their 30s and 40s, have been arrested and charged in connection with the case.

Authorities responded to a report of a violent incident at a home in Haugesund at 4:38 PM on Tuesday. Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 40s injured. He was transported to Haugesund Hospital by ambulance and has since been discharged.
