Serious injuries Reported Following Highway 3 Collision

Innlandet, Norway – January 20, 2026 – A significant traffic incident occurred on National Highway 3 late Monday night, resulting in serious injuries to the driver of a passenger vehicle. Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 11:01 PM local time.

According to Bård Einar Hoft, operations manager for the Innlandet police district, the driver of the car was extricated and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries is currently unknown, but authorities have confirmed they are considered serious.
