The smart home has one basic problem: each manufacturer plays on it’s own turf. Bulbs from Philips, sockets from TP-Link, sensors from Aqara – and three different apps.Homey brings it all together thanks to its hardware and above all, its marvelous app. Now the Pro Mini version has also arrived in Europe.

The year of waiting paid off

Dutch company Homey introduced the Mini version of its smart home hub exactly a year ago, but then only for the American market. European buyers had to wait – and they waited just before the end of 2025. The Hub is now available direct from the manufacturer for 249 € (about CZK 6,000),which is €150 less than the full-fledged homey Pro. Gigabit speed Ethernet ensures a stable network connection. This is important because Homey Pro Mini runs fully locally. Your automations work even when the internet is down, no data goes to the cloud – unless you want it to.
