HUMAIN Invests $3 Billion in xAI Ahead of SpaceX Merger

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – February 18, 2026 – HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in full-stack artificial intelligence, announced a $3 billion strategic investment in xAI as part of the company’s Series E financing round. This investment occurred immediately prior to xAI’s acquisition by SpaceX, positioning HUMAIN at a critical juncture for platform expansion and integration.

Strategic Investment and Share Conversion

As a result of the Series E transaction, HUMAIN became a significant minority shareholder in xAI. Following the acquisition, these holdings were converted into shares of SpaceX. This move provides HUMAIN with long-term equity exposure and participation in xAI’s final financing round before the merger.

Expanding AI Infrastructure Partnership

This investment builds upon the existing 500MW AI infrastructure partnership between HUMAIN and xAI in Saudi Arabia, announced in November 2025. This partnership reinforces HUMAIN’s role as a strategic development partner and a leading global investor in frontier AI technologies.
