Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Fleetwood Mac’ Receives Dolby Atmos Blu-ray Audio Release for 50th Anniversary

Fleetwood Mac’s tenth studio album, Fleetwood Mac, is being re-released in several formats to commemorate its 50th anniversary. A Blu-ray Audio disc featuring a novel Dolby Atmos mix will be available on August 8, 2025, alongside limited-edition vinyl releases.

Dolby Atmos and Surround Sound Mixes

The Blu-ray Audio edition boasts a new Dolby Atmos mix engineered by Chris James, who previously worked on Atmos mixes for Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours and Tusk, as well as Prince’s Purple Rain. This mix aims to provide a fully immersive listening experience. In addition to the Atmos mix, the Blu-ray as well includes a traditional 5.1 surround mix by original producer Ken Caillat and Claus Trelby.

Vinyl Reissues

As part of Rhino’s High Fidelity collection, two limited-edition vinyl versions will be released. One version is limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies. A more exclusive version, limited to 2,000 copies, will include two replica 7-inch singles featuring “Over My Head”/“Rhiannon” and “Say You Love Me”/“Blue Letter.”

Mastering and Production

The vinyl releases have been mastered by Kevin Gray, who also oversaw the 45rpm cut of Rumours. The vinyl is pressed on 180g wax, directly from the original analogue master tapes.

Release Details

  • Blu-ray Audio Release Date: August 8, 2025
  • Record Label: Warner Music/Rhino
