Indonesia Corruption Index Drops to 109 in 2025 Report

Score Corruption Perception Index (IPK) Indonesia in 2025 will be at number 34. There is a decrease of three points compared to 2024.

“Indonesia’s CPI score this year is 34. Then, its ranking compared to 180 other countries is 109,” said Transparency International Indonesia (TII) Program Manager, Ferdian Yazid, to journalists, Tuesday (10/2/2026).

Ferdian said that Indonesia’s 2025 GPA score ranking was out of the top 100. Even though in the previous year Indonesia was ranked 99th.

“So the score dropped by three points, the ranking dropped by 10 places,” explained Ferdian.

He revealed that the GPA score put Indonesia on par with African countries such as Algeria and Sierra Leone. Indonesia is also on the same score as Laos.

“The following are the CPI scores of other countries which have the same scores. So there are several African countries, for example Algeria, Malawi, Sierra Leone. Indonesia also has the same score as neighboring ASEAN country, Laos,” he said.
