The “Fit For the Future” Challenge & Design Concept
Contestants worked in teams, and this designer was part of a team led by Leeland, alongside Foster, Little Feather, and Maya. The team adopted an optimistic outlook, focusing on a future where craftsmanship is highly valued and personalized.
The winning design explored biomorphic shapes, utilizing a striking contrast of materials. key elements included:
* sheer Black and Nude crinolines: Layered to create movement and depth.
* UV foam: Incorporated to illuminate in electric blue under black light, representing water.
* Transparaprint Pieces: Hand-cut with swirling, organic lines inspired by butterfly wings, symbolizing earth.
* Butterfly Wing headpiece: Created from the same transparaprint material, further emphasizing the organic motif.
The designer intentionally allowed the materials to be the focal point, building a clean silhouette around their inherent qualities rather than concealing them. The design was strategically placed to close the show, maximizing the impact of the UV foam’s illumination.
Judges’ Praise and Recognition

Beker notably commented that the look was “in a league of it’s own.” Special guest judge, makeup artist Patrick Ta, also acknowledged the craft and intention behind the work. https://www.instagram.com/p/C0Xw-q9vX-w/
