I’d like to thank Cricket Ireland for giving me the opportunity to fulfil a childhood dream of representing my country and playing cricket at the highest level,
Ben White said as he ended his international career.

White earned 38 of his 43 international caps in the T20 format. His final appearance for Ireland came in December 2025 against Bangladesh. In the longest format of the game, White represented Ireland in three Test matches, all of which took place in 2023.
During his time with the national setup, the bowler was selected for three ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squads in 2021, 2024, and 2026. Representing Ireland at three ICC T20 World Cups and playing Test cricket definitely wasn’t on the bingo card but It’s something I’ll always be incredibly proud of, and I’ll be forever grateful for the experiences and memories I’ve made along the way,
White stated.
Ireland head coach Gary Wilson acknowledged the mixed emotions surrounding the departure of the experienced leg spinner. Wilson noted that while he congratulates White on a career defined by dedication, the squad will feel his absence on and off the field.

Wilson said.
